Reiki Energy Healing
Reiki is a very efficient spiritually guided healing energy,
practised in several hospitals in the UK and wordwide.
As a complementary therapy it is beneficial for body and mind.
“If Reiki can be spread throughout the world it will touch the human heart and the morals of society. It will be helpful for many people, not only healing disease but the Earth as a whole.”
Mikao Usui (1865-1926), the founder of the system of Reiki

Reiki helps you regain your balance on all levels; physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and in your energy system.
Physical: Reiki supports and accelerates the body’s own natural ability to heal itself, helping to alleviate pain and relieve other symptoms while cleansing the body from poisons and toxins. Reiki balances and harmonises the whole energy body, promoting an overall feeling of well-being. It helps to develop the body’s real needs, for example the right nutrition, exercises, and sleep patterns.
Mental: Reiki allows to let go of negative thoughts, attitudes and replaces them with positivity and peace of mind. This leads to a state of deep relaxation, with the consequent release of stress and tension. Reiki enhances intuitive abilities, encourages greater insight, and self-awareness.

Emotional: Reiki makes it easier to let go of negative emotions such as anger, jealousy etc. and promotes the qualities of love, trust, goodwill.
Spiritual: Reiki flows into a person’s whole energy field them to help to accept and love their whole self and fosters non-judgemental approach to humankind. It promotes the qualities of love, compassion, understanding and acceptance. It encourages a person on their personal path towards spiritual development.

Reiki goes to the root of the problem
It makes the necessary corrections in the energy fields of the body in a holistic way. After the therapy you will feel not only balanced and in harmony but also energised and centred.
During a Reiki treatment
A Reiki treatment can be done in seated or lying position whichever is more comfortable for the you.
You will be fully dressed during the treatment, since Reiki will find its way easily to you through your clothes, as it can reach its destination from any distance.
You will find yourself in a peaceful, cosy environment, listening to soft, relaxing background music and you can let go all the unnecessary worries and anxieties of everyday life.
I will channel the energy for you by placing my hands over different areas of your body, each place for a few minutes. You will probably experience warmth, occasionally tingling and you will feel yourself peaceful, calm and deeply relaxed during and after the treatment.
In most cases you will find that the problem you meant to have the Reiki treatment for, diminishes and you will feel more comfortable, balanced and in harmony in yourself.
A Reiki treatment usually lasts one hour but it can be longer and shorter of course. I can assure you that the time spent on and with Reiki will be hugely beneficial.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a safe, non- intrusive spiritually guided energy healing modality which is good for physical mental, emotional and spiritual problems. Reiki is a holistic system for balancing, harmonizing and healing all aspects of a person.
The Japanese word Reiki is often translated as “universal life-force energy”, but a more accurate version is “spiritual energy”.
Rei is translated as “sacred “soul” or “spirit”, the “wisdom and knowledge of all the Universe”.
Ki is the life-force energy which flows through every living thing – people, animals, plants.
Reiki is universal and not only in its name – meaning Universal Life Force Energy or Spiritual Energy – but also in the sense that it has a wonderfully beneficial effect on everybody and everything.
Sometimes Reiki can bring about positive changes almost instantaneously, depending on the person and the problem it is channelled for.
Reiki is a complementary energy healing system. It complements conventional medical treatments very well but does not substitute them. Therefore, I would never recommend using it instead of a treatment advised by your GP or other health care professionals.
In my own experience as well as in those of my clients: Reiki soothes stressful feelings, anxious thoughts, alleviates depression, relieves pain, shortens the recovery time from an injury or an operation, helps you feel balanced, sleep better and be relaxed mentally and emotionally.
As the saying goes: “The proof of the pudding is in the eating”
Distant Reiki
I have been doing distant Reiki treatments, with the same beneficial effects as the in person ones. It is extremely rewarding when my clients come back to me and report how quickly they recover from their different injuries or diseases.
During distant Reiki treatments I channel and send you the healing power of Usui Reiki and or Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki® energy anywhere wherever you are in the world.
I can send Reiki to a person, an animal, or a situation. The treatment will have the same effect as if you were receiving a hands-on treatment.
A Distant Reiki healing session is usually half an hour long. I would suggest starting the preparation for the treatment 10-15 minutes before the actual start time of the Reiki treatment so that you can be in a somewhat relaxed state of mind by the time Reiki will flow.
Please drink a glass of water before and after the treatment to be more absorbent for the healing, and for grounding yourself at the end. You may want to light a candle, listen to some pleasant relaxation music.
I like this album very much: Comfort Zone, Steven Halpern
Then lie down comfortably, cover yourself with a nice warm blanket, take a few deep conscious breaths, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth and then return to your natural rhythm of breathing. Set your intention for the treatment, (you may also write it down in your journal beforehand) then let it go.
During the treatment please be aware of your bodily sensations, any messages that may come from your Higher Self, any thoughts that are relevant for your healing. You may have visions, that may help you further in your life or find your true path or calling. You may become emotional and release emotional, mental heaviness. You may feel heat, tingling or a wave of energy running through your body.
One thing is very important during the treatment, and it is to be there, in the present moment mentally in a relaxed way and do not let yourself taken prisoner of any not relevant mental activity. If you notice that your thoughts have captured your attention for too long, just take a few, deep, conscious breaths and you will be back again in the present moment.
Some clients do not have outstanding sensations during or after a distant Reiki session, but they will still have the benefits of the Reiki energy which will work with them long after the treatment has finished.
I will text you 15 minutes before the treatment, and when I have finished. I would appreciate very much if you could give me your feedback any time after the treatment when it is convenient for you.
You may want to start a Reiki journal to remember what experiences, sensations you had during the treatment, and what positive changes are happening in your life due to the healing energy of Reiki

My Reiki journey
I obtained my first Reiki I degree in 2003, and my first Reiki II degree in Budapest in 2011. I repeated my Reiki I and II courses both in Budapest and at The Reiki Academy London. I am a qualified Reiki master/teacher and therapist in both the Western Lineage (Usui Shiki Ryoho) and the Eastern Lineage (Usui Reiki Ryoho).
I am fully insured and certified with Balens Ltd.
In 2020 I took my Reiki studies to a further level with the International Center for Reiki Training, with William Lee Rand Senior Reiki Master/Teacher, Holy Fire® III, President of the International Centre for Reiki Training, the Reiki Membership Association and founder of the Center for Reiki Research.
I practice self-Reiki every day and I am grateful to Reiki for all those wonderful and sometimes miraculous changes it has brought into my life and into those people’s lives I have treated with Reiki.
A brief history of Reiki
The energy healing system of Reiki (pronounced “Ray-key”) was founded by Mikao Usui (1865-1926) in the early 20s. He developed the system and made it accessible for everyone.
The history of Reiki and Sensei (Master) Usui is still controversial and full of surprises.
He came from a samurai family, was even a Buddhist monk for a while though living with his wife and children. He had a spiritual interest from his young adulthood. He studied different Buddhist traditions and forms of meditation. He also had a worldly job, travelled a lot in Europe and in America. He was trying to find some deeper understanding and peace in himself and the world around him. At last he decided to retreat for a long meditation on Mount Kourama, near Kyoto which was a well-known place for people who were inclined to search their inner lives.
After 21 days of fasting and meditation when he was close to dying, all of a sudden he saw an extraordinary light around him, he immediately came aware of everything he was looking for in all his life. It was the moment of his enlightenment. What he didn’t immediately realise was that through this experience he had developed healing hands as well.
After returning home he moved to Tokyo and started practicing Reiki, although he never used this name himself. He became more and more popular since the healing was very effective for all kinds of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual problems and disorders too. He started teaching Reiki. He was convinced that if he could heal then anybody could.
To enhance the effectiveness of this energy healing system Mikao Usui introduced attunements and symbols for the practitioners which have become essential parts of the system.Reiki was introduced in the western world by one of Usui’s students, Hawayo Takata.
